The Back Hurts more ..

Offlate the back has started hurting more , it is not pain but the discomfort is more which is troubling me. Unable to sit for even 1 hour and need something to take my mind away from it. Things are going to get better with the normal exercise routine. Once the inversion unit arrives things will get better and will be able to relax on it for some time, that small things weighs 62 pounds..When I go to India that is one thing which I would like to ship if not others.

Offlate I think GOD has decided to give me a signal to take care of my health , eyesight, cholesterol, back pain, rotator cuff injury, Neck ache all troubles coming in short period of time , makes me think..

Some obnoxious colleague

At some times I feel kicking his a** , I am sure you know what. The best part is he can make you lose your cool in no time by being the most irritable character you have ever met. As always never listens to what you are saying and never sticking to his own words. And you have to appreciate his confidence , the way he says I am 100% sure and what not ...
I wish I could tell him every1 hates you and the world would be a better place if he keeps mum.
I wish ....

Empressr

A number of Ajax based powerpoint applications have launched in the past few month - notably Zoho Show and Thumbstacks (Thumbstacks also has a Flash option).

Empressr, headquartered in New York, is the newest entrant into this space. It’s a flash-based application with rudimentary features.

Online office applications are serious business with real acquisition possibilities. Writely, an online word processor, was acquired by Google earlier this year, and Google launched Google Spreadsheets, an online version of Excel, last month. Powerpoint web applications are probably next.

There are three key feature areas that I think must be covered if an online version of Powerpoint is to succeed. First, at least basic creation tools need to be developed. Second, the applicaitons need to import and export in Powerpoint format. Third, the files need to be viewable online via shared or public hyperlinks. A PDF export feature would be nice as well.

Empressr allows sharing of presentations, but the creation tools aren’t there yet and there is no import/export to powerpoint (or PDF) available. Look for future versions to include these features

Wireless protocols... plenty missing

I have always wondered why do we need to have a wireless transmitter for each accessory.I believe it is fairly possible to have a protocol which understands , a mouse movement, a copy paste command, a wireless signal etc etc..... What it means is we are short of a techonological innovation which will be a common paltform which works on usb/Firewire protocol and is able to distinguish between these features .. Lets see when this happens and we are ready for the same.
